Strawberry cream mousse love hearts with Cointreau soaked strawberries

This Valentines Day recipe will impress any partner. A perfect dessert to end a romantic dinner on a special day.

Place the first amount of strawberries into a blender and puree. Heat the milk, sugar and vanilla essence and simmer. Place the egg yokes into a stainless steel bowl and whisk. Add the simmering milk and whisk. Place the milk mixture on a low heat on the stove. Thicken the milk mixture. When the mixture becomes thick, take off the heat and cool down. Soak the gelatin in water, and then place the gelatin into the warm milk mixture. Whip the cream till firm then add the whipped cream to the cold milk mixture and add the pureed strawberries. Place the mousse mixture into greased love heart shaped moulds and set them in the refrigerator.

Place the sugared water, coinatrau and chopped mint in a small bowl and mix. Cut the strawberries into quarters and add into the cointreau mix. Leave in the refrigerator for 2 hours to gather flavors before use.
