Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast Recipe
This is a very easy recipe for a delicious pot roast. It makes its own gravy. It's designed especially for the working person who does not have time to cook all day, but it tastes like you did. You'll want the cut to be between 5 and 6 pounds. Prep Time: approx. 10 Minutes. Cook Time:
Approx. 8 Hours. Ready in: approx. 8 Hours 10 Minutes. Makes 12 servings.
2 (10.75 ounce) cans
Condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion Soup mix
1 1/4 cups water
5 1/2 pounds pot roast
Directions
1 In a slow cooker, mix cream of mushroom soup, dry onion soup mix and water. Place pot roast in slow cooker and coat with soup mixture.
2 Cook on High setting for 3 to 4 hours, or on Low setting for 8 to 9 hours.
Slow Cooker Barbeque Recipes
Serve on sub rolls. Prep Time: approx. 25 Minutes. Cook Time: approx. 9 Hours. Ready in: approx. 9 Hours 25 Minutes. Makes 8 servings.
3 pounds beef chuck roast
1-teaspoon garlic powder
1-teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 (18 ounce) bottle barbeque sauce
Directions
1 Place beef chuck roast into slow cooker. Sprinkle with garlic powder and onion powder, and season with salt and pepper. Pour barbeque sauce over meat. Cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
2 Remove meat from slow cooker, shred, and return to slow cooker. Cook for 1 more hour. Serve hot.
Slow Cooker Pepper Steak Recipe
2 pounds beef sirloin, cut into 2 inch strips garlic powder to taste 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cube beef bouillon
1/4-cup hot water
1-tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 large green bell peppers, roughly chopped
1 (14.5 ounce) can stewed tomatoes, with liquid
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon white sugar
1-teaspoon salt
1. Sprinkle strips of sirloin with garlic powder to taste. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the vegetable oil and brown the seasoned beef strips. Transfer to a slow cooker.
2. Mix bouillon cube with hot water until dissolved, then mix in cornstarch until dissolved. Pour into the slow cooker with meat. Add onion, green pepper, stewed tomatoes, soy sauce, sugar and salt.
3. Cover and cook on high for 3 to 4 hours, or on low for 6 to 8 hours.
