Potato and onion bake with chopped fresh herbs
This potato dish is a great accompaniment for a nice big juicy steak. What more could a guy ask for. Make extra potato bake do you can have some for lunch the next day.
Peel the potatoes and wash any dirt under running water. Slice the potato thinly on a slicer. Place the sliced potato into a medium stainless steel bowl. Thinly slice the onion and garlic and add to the potato mix. Add the butter and mix together. Place the thick cream, chopped herbs and spices into s plastic jug with the seasoning and mix with a bar blender. Mix the cream with the potatoes, then place the potatoes into a well-greased baking tray and flatten out the potato mix. Add all the cream on top of the potatoes and finish the potato bake with the grated cheddar cheese. Bake in the oven on 360F for 40 minutes. Take out of the oven and cut into squares and serve.
6 large potatoes
1 large onion
1 clove garlic
1 teaspoon powdered ginger
1 teaspoon powdered nutmeg
1 teaspoon chopped basil
1 teaspoon chopped sage
1 teaspoon chopped parsley
1 tablespoon chopped chives
2 cups thick cream
1 tablespoon butter
½ Teaspoon Sea slat
½ teaspoon cracked pepper
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
