Japanese mixed seafood grill (Sakana)
Sakana consists of a selection of fish and seafood’s. You can use any types of seafood in this recipe. Be careful not to use any fish that will fall apart and make this dish look messy.
Brush the raw seafood with the oil and season with the Sea salt and cracked pepper. Set aside for 10 minutes. Cook the seafood on a hot flat grill for about 5 minutes. Take the seafood off and place the vegetables on the flat grill and cook for 10 minutes. Place the cooked vegetables onto 3 rectangle plates. Heat the seafood back up by placing on to the grill for 30 seconds, then place the seafood on top of the hot vegetables. Place small bowls of Soy sauce and garlic, sesame paste and horseradish around the plates and serve.
1 green lobster tail
8 green shrimps
8 ounce piece of fish
1 medium crab
12 scallops
8 oysters
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
Sea salt and cracked pepper
2 medium onions
6 shiitake mushrooms, sliced
2 tomatoes, into small pieces
1 red capsicum cut into rings
1 green capsicum cut into rings
2 stalk spring onions, cut 1 inch long
2 bamboo shoots cut 1 inch long
Soy sauce with garlic
Sesame paste
Horseradish
