Tangellos 11 herbs and spiced chicken
This fried chicken recipe came about as an accident. My chef and I were hungry and decided that we felt like some fried chicken. We pulled out the whole range of herbs and spices and came up with this recipe.
Place all the dried chopped herbs and spices into a small stainless steel bowl and mix well. In a separate bowl, mix the flour and eggs. Add the mixed flour and eggs into the herd and spices into a smooth paste. Place the sesame seeds over the top of the herb and spiced mix then dip the chicken drumsticks into the paste. Place the chicken drumsticks into a deep fryer at 370F and cook for 8 minutes. If the chicken drumsticks are large, you may need to cook the chicken in the oven for a few minutes otherwise the chicken may turn out too dark and dry.
8 small chicken drumsticks
1-tablespoon sesame seeds
2 eggs
2 tablespoons bread flour
1 teaspoon dried chopped tarragon
1 teaspoon dried chopped Italian herbs
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon onion flakes
1-teaspoon oregano leaves
½ teaspoon all spice
½ teaspoon curry powder
½ teaspoon Cajun spices
¼ teaspoon cardoman spices
¼ teaspoon cummin spices
¼ teaspoon cracked black pepper
