Long Island Tea
Long Island Iced Tea is one of the most amazing drinks I have ever tried. In the summer of 1998, I was sitting is a nice little bar in Oyster Bay, Long Island, New York, when a local I had befriended suggested I try a Long Island iced tea. At first I said no because I wanted a beer and not a nice little cup of herbal tea, but after an explanation of what a Long Island iced tea really was, I was all for a glass or two or three. I also found out something vary important while experiencing my first Long Island iced tea drink. Don’t drink to many glasses too quick. Long Island iced tea is easy to consume quickly and the alcohol affect will hit you like a truck, so be careful how fast and how many you drink.
