Butter chicken and corn stew with sliced French stick
This camping recipe is a good hearty meal that will give you the energy to keep going when your are in the bush or just camping and this recipe does not require much preparation or ingredients and is simple to make. You can also chill any leftovers and have them on some slices of buttered bread.
Pre heat a bush fire cooking pot over a hot fire flames and add the cooking oil. Slice the onion and add the onion into the cooking pot. Slice the chicken into strips or cubes then add them into the frying onion. Fry the chicken for 3 minutes then add the corn, water, buttered chicken sauce and salt and pepper. Simmer the stew for 20 minutes over a medium flame then your stew is ready. If the fire is too hot and your stew reduces to quickly, you may need to add some more water during the cooking process.
Slice the French stick into thin pieces and butter them.
Serve your stew in bowls with two slice of buttered French stick.
2 pounds of chicken
1 cup of frozen corn
2 cup of bottled Indian buttered chicken sauce
2 cups of water
1 onion
1 French stick
1 tablespoon cooking oil
Salt and pepper
1 tablespoon butter
